Government of Pakistan, Ministry of National Food Security & Research (M/o NFS&R) invites applications from suitable candidates for appointment to the post of Deputy Project Coordinator (PPS-09) under the Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU) for the project titled "National Program for Enhancing the Command Area in Barani Areas of Pakistan" located in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The position is purely on contract basis initially for a period of one year (extendable yearly based on performance evaluation) with an offered base salary range of Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 100,000. Agricultural Engineering / Water Resources, MA Economics, or MBA Finance. • 12 years' experience working in Public/Private sector dealing with water and agriculture sector (including 5 years managing large-scale public sector development projects). • Knowledge of rules/regulations for public sector development project preparation (PC-I, PC-II), financing, procurement, and implementation. • Strong leadership, analytical, IT, and communication skills. • Preference given to candidates with experience implementing public sector development projects. |
• Act as Deputy Project Coordinator (DPC) for the federal government project "NPECA". • Assist Ministry in disposal of administrative & financial matters related to FPMU. • Assist in timely transfer of matching federal grants to participating agencies. • Work closely with provincial PMUs for effective project implementation. • Assist in compilation of periodic monitoring reports, progress reports, working paper for FSC and FCC. |
