Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Jobs 2026 has been officially announced for an executive healthcare leadership position. WAPDA is looking for dynamic and self-motivated candidates on a contract basis to oversee, manage, and lead all medical, clinical, and administrative operations of WAPDA hospitals and dispensaries across Pakistan.
The vacancy is available for the position of Director General (Medical Services) – BPS-20 stationed in Lahore. Eligible medical professionals meeting the specified experience criteria are invited to apply.

• M.B.B.S or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. • 20 years of service in Public, Private, Military Hospital / Institution including Medical Administration experience of 05 years. • Preference: 03 years or more experience as MS / DMS in Public, Private, Military Hospital / Institution. • Strong command over hospital operations, clinical governance, PMC/DRAP/PPRA rules, and healthcare licensing. |
Terms & General Conditions
- Tenure: The appointment shall initially be for a period of 03 years on a lumpsum basis with a 06-month probation period, extendable subject to satisfactory performance without any consideration for regularization at any stage.
- Serving Employees: Government/Military employees must apply through proper channel and submit the requisite NOC/permission.
- Degree Verification: Educational degrees must be from HEC-recognized Universities or concerned Boards and duly verified.
- TA/DA: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, and no TA/DA will be admissible.
