Eligibility Criteria
- F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks.
- Physics, Chemistry and Biology are compulsory subjects.
- Candidates must meet the prescribed requirements mentioned in the PHSA admission prospectus.
- Candidates must have domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or newly merged districts.
KMU-CAT Test Requirement
The advertisement states that the KMU-CAT Test is compulsory. Students failing to appear in the KMU-CAT Test for Session 2026 are not eligible for admission.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for admission is 35 years as of the closing date for submission of online applications.
Merit & Admission Policy
Open Merit
Admission will be conducted on an open merit basis according to the criteria mentioned in the admission notice and prospectus.
Female to Male Ratio
The advertisement states that a female-to-male ratio of 9:1 will be maintained, including at each Nursing College.

Important Admission Instructions

Shortlisted Candidates & Interview Schedule
Shortlisted Candidates
Lists of shortlisted candidates, including male, female and quota-based admissions, will be displayed on 30 October 2026 on the official PHSA website.
Interview
Shortlisted candidates will appear for an interview at the PHSA office, Budhni Road, Duranpur, near Motorway Northern Bypass, Peshawar.
Interview Instructions
- Physical presence of the candidate is mandatory at the time of interview.
- Candidates failing to appear at the scheduled date and time will lose their right to admission.
- Interviews will not be rescheduled for candidates who fail to appear.
- Candidates must bring all original documents in hard form.
- Candidates must also bring a recent passport-size photograph and attested photocopies of relevant documents as mentioned in the prospectus.
- The original KMU-CAT result must also be available at the time of interview.
Hafiz-e-Quran Test
The Hifz-e-Quran test will be conducted on 22 October 2026.
Candidates claiming Hafiz-e-Quran status must:
- Provide a valid Hifz-e-Quran certificate issued by a registered Deeni Madrasa.
- Appear in and pass the prescribed Hifz-e-Quran test.
Only candidates who successfully pass the Hifz-e-Quran test will be awarded 20 additional marks, which will be added to their F.Sc obtained marks according to the applicable admission policy.
Call Letter & Website Updates
No separate call letter or message will be issued or communicated to shortlisted candidates.
Candidates are directed to visit the PHSA official website frequently for admission-related updates.
If the interview time or schedule changes for any reason, it will be updated on the PHSA official website.
TA/DA Policy
No Travelling Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be admissible to any candidate appearing for the interview or any other admission-related activity.
