Eligibility Criteria for MBBS & BDS
- The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate or F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent qualification from any BISE in Pakistan or abroad with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Candidates must have passed MDCAT 2024, MDCAT-2025 or MDCAT-2026 according to the admission requirements.
- Minimum MDCAT marks required are 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
- Candidates must have domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa / Merged Districts according to the applicable admission policy.

How to Apply Online for KMU MBBS & BDS Admissions
KMU has introduced a centralized online admission system for public sector medical and dental colleges.
Candidates are required to submit their applications online through the official KMU Centralized Admission System.
Hard copies of the application form through post/courier are not acceptable.

Candidates should follow the official KMU Centralized Admission System instructions regarding the prescribed application fee and deposit slip.
Candidates are advised to keep the original fee slip safely as it may be required as evidence during the admission process.
Important Admission Instructions
- Incomplete or deficient application forms will not be entertained.
- Admission forms will not be accepted by hand or through mail/courier.
- Candidates from MDS/Ex-FATA and Backward Areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa must submit the required certificates according to the KMU admission policy.
- Applicants should list their preferred college(s) in order of priority in the designated fields of the online application.
- Candidates selected for any category must deposit the required fee within the prescribed time after receiving the admission offer letter.
- Allocation of seats for different categories in respective medical and dental colleges will be according to the applicable admission policy.
- Eligible candidates against Open Merit Seats may also be considered for reciprocal seats where applicable.
- KMU may make admissions on Open Merit, General Self-Finance, Foreign Self-Finance, Disabled, Minorities, Reciprocal and other applicable categories.
- Any candidate found to have submitted forged or fabricated certificates or fake documents/information may be debarred according to the admission rules.
- If any point is unclear regarding the admission process, candidates should follow the official KMU Admission Policy and related instructions.
- No separate call letters will necessarily be issued for interview or placement where the official admission system provides online updates.
